About Water Damage Restoration Pros

We are a referral line, not a restoration contractor. This page explains exactly what that means, what we do and do not do, and why we have built the rest of this website the way we have.

Water Damage Restoration Pros is a referral service. We connect you with independent restoration providers. Service availability, response time, pricing, licensing and the work performed are the responsibility of the provider, not of this website.

What we are A phone line that connects Irving property owners with independent restoration providers covering their ZIP code.

What we actually do

Water Damage Restoration Pros is a referral service for property owners and residents in Irving, Texas. You call one number, describe what has happened, and we connect you with an independent restoration provider that covers your ZIP code and handles that type of work.

That is the whole service. We are deliberate about saying so, because the difference between a referral brand and a restoration contractor matters to you in practical ways — it determines who carries the licence, who sets the price, who signs the contract and who is accountable if something goes wrong.

What we do

  • Take your call and establish what happened, where you are and how urgent it is.
  • Identify which independent providers cover your Irving ZIP code and the type of work involved.
  • Connect you so you can speak with the provider directly.
  • Publish genuinely useful information about water, fire, mold and biohazard damage — including what to ask a provider before you authorise anything.

What we do not do

  • We do not perform restoration, remediation, cleaning or repair work.
  • We do not employ restoration technicians and we do not own extraction or drying equipment.
  • We do not set provider pricing, and we cannot quote a price for a job.
  • We do not guarantee an arrival time, provider availability, or any outcome.
  • We do not publish reviews, ratings, customer counts or credentials we cannot verify — which is why you will not find any on this site.

Photography on this site illustrates restoration work in general. It does not show our staff, our vehicles or a specific job — we are a referral service and do not employ restoration technicians.

Why this website is built the way it is

Most websites in this industry look broadly the same: badges, a five-star rating, a claim about years in business, a promise of arrival within the hour, and a price that turns out to be an opening position. We decided not to do that, for a straightforward reason — we are a referral brand, and we cannot verify and keep current the credentials of every independent provider who takes a call.

So instead of publishing claims we cannot stand behind, we have published the things that are actually verifiable and useful:

  • Texas law, stated accurately. A TDLR mold remediation licence is required once mold affects 25 or more contiguous square feet, assessment and remediation generally must be done by different parties, and a licensed remediator must give you the Consumer Mold Information Sheet before work begins. Those are facts about the state, verifiable through TDLR, not claims about us.
  • What to ask before you authorise work. Proof of insurance, a written scope, daily moisture readings, and clarity on whether a quote covers mitigation only or mitigation plus rebuild.
  • Cost factors rather than invented prices. We will not publish a dollar figure for a property nobody has seen.
  • Local detail that is real. Irving's housing age profile, Blackland Prairie clay and slab construction, the city's flood and levee geography, and the hail and freeze seasons — researched and sourced, not generated.

Our view is that a homeowner who knows what to ask gets a better outcome from whichever provider they end up with. That is a more useful thing for us to offer than a badge.

Where we operate

Irving, Texas, in Dallas County — specifically the six residential ZIP codes where the city's residents actually live: 75038 and 75039, 75060, 75061, 75062 and 75063. Together those hold around 258,000 people.

We also list Irving's PO Box and mail-routing codes on the service areas page so the coverage picture is complete, but we have not built pages for them. They have no resident population, so there would be nothing true to put on such a page.

Referral disclosure

Water Damage Restoration Pros is a referral service. We connect you with independent restoration providers. Service availability, response time, pricing, licensing and the work performed are the responsibility of the provider, not of this website. We are compensated by the providers who receive referrals, not by callers. You are under no obligation to use a provider you are connected with, and you are entitled to obtain other quotes before authorising any work.

Questions about how the referral works?

Ask them on the phone before anything starts. We would rather set expectations than manage them later.

FAQ

Questions about how we operate

Are you a restoration contractor?

No. We are a referral service. We do not perform restoration, remediation or repair work, we do not employ restoration technicians, we do not own equipment, and we do not set provider pricing. We take your call, work out what you need and where you are, and connect you with an independent provider who covers it.

How do you make money if the service is free to me?

Referral services like this one are paid by the providers who receive the connections, not by the person calling. That is the standard arrangement across this industry, and it is worth you knowing it: it means our incentive is to connect calls. What it does not mean is that you are obliged to use whoever you are connected with, or to accept the first quote. You are not, and we would rather say so plainly than have you work it out afterwards.

How do you choose which provider to connect me with?

By coverage and capability — which independent providers cover your ZIP code and handle the type of work you are describing, whether that is water extraction, fire and smoke, mold remediation or biohazard. We do not rank providers by quality on this site, because we are not in a position to verify and keep current the credentials of every provider taking calls. That is why so much of this website is about what to ask them yourself.

Do you verify provider licences and insurance?

We do not publish licensing or insurance claims about providers on this website, and you should be sceptical of referral sites that do without naming the specific company and licence number. What we do instead is tell you exactly what to ask for: proof of general liability insurance, a written scope before work begins, and — for mold work over 25 contiguous square feet — a TDLR mold remediation licence number you can verify through the state's public licence search.

What if I am not happy with the provider?

You are not obliged to proceed with anyone. Nothing should begin before you have agreed a written scope, and you are entitled to get another quote. If something goes wrong after work has started, your contract is with the provider rather than with us, so that is who you address it with — and for licensed mold work, TDLR operates a complaints process.

Still not sure what you are dealing with? Describe it on the phone and we will point you the right way — (469) 960-7264.
